Memberships with the
North Dakota Geographic Alliance
Are you interested in Geography?
Do you want to feel empowered with a new awareness of the world? Become a member of the North Dakota Geographic Alliance today. Our only requirement is that you have a love of Geography! If you seek knowledge, then becoming a member will provide you with access to all our many wonderful resources. We have political, topographical, satellite, population, historical, geological and many other types of maps available from geographical locations all over the world. You can learn from our library of interesting and informational materials, full of rich content for all ages. Our Alliance has a wide array of partnerships and sponsors we hold in high regard, in the local, statewide and on the national levels. These many important entities make available their resources to us and we provide our members with special access. If you desire to meet like-minded individuals, or prefer to network with colleagues and peers, then attend one of our summer sessions. Our traveling classrooms rotate regions throughout the state, each one setting out from a new geographical location. We offer 3-5 day classes and registration is available on our website, ndgeographic.org. Continuing education requirements are also met in all our, and our sponsored summer sessions through the statewide university system; separate university registration is required. We keep the themes of our workshops current and relevant. No career prerequisites are required to attend and all ages are welcome. Please note that priority is given to those who also registered at their university for our class. Also, as a member you will receive voting privileges for board member elections and receive emails and mail with information about recent and upcoming events. We hope you join us today and we are looking forward to meeting you.
